So, as I have been thinking, working on, and talking about the transition to family documentary photography, it occurred to me that it may be difficult to imagine what a documentary session will look like. The traditional posed portrait session is so engrained in us as what a photo session *should* be. So, as often as I can, I will use some of the "mini documentary sessions" from my 2015 365 project to give you a little inspiration. This is to show possibilities of what we can do for your documentary session. As you will see, they are endless!
In August of 2015, we finally moved our big two-and-a-half-year-old out of her crib/toddler bed and into a "big girl" bed that she picked out from IKEA.
It has a canopy and can be flipped over to become a loft bed (when she gets a little older and better with handling ladders).
She had a blast helping her daddy build it. This girl loves using tools and making sure daddy is doing things right.
